How bubble text works
Each letter is swapped for a character from the Enclosed Alphanumerics block (U+2460–U+24FF). These were added for legacy East Asian encodings, where enclosed letters and numbers are common in lists and forms.
Coverage for this style: A–Z, a–z, 0–9. Anything outside that range passes through unchanged.
Where bubble works

Support warning: this style uses less common characters. It renders on current iPhones, Android phones, Windows 10 and later and macOS, but may show as boxes on older devices, smart TVs and some games.

Is this a real font? +
No. Each letter is replaced with a look-alike character from the Enclosed Alphanumerics block of Unicode. The result is plain text, which is why it pastes anywhere.
Why do some characters not change? +
This style covers A–Z, a–z, 0–9. Characters outside that set have no styled equivalent in Unicode and are left as they are.
Will bubble work in my Instagram or TikTok username? +
Not in the @username, which only allows letters, numbers, periods and underscores. It works in your display name, bio and captions.
Can screen readers read bubble? +
Poorly. Screen readers announce the technical name of each character or skip it. Do not use it for anything people need to read.
