Danish uses æ, ø and å in that order at the end of the alphabet; aa is an accepted spelling of å in names.
The Danish layout puts æ and ø to the right of L and å to the right of P.
On a Mac, Option+' gives æ, Option+O gives ø and Option+A gives å.

Open Settings → Time & Language → Language & region, add Danish (or open the options for your language and add the Danish keyboard). Switch layouts with Win+Space. The current layout is shown next to the clock.
Open System Settings → Keyboard → Input Sources → Edit, click +, and add Danish. Switch with Control+Space or from the input menu in the menu bar. Turn on Show Input menu in menu bar to see which layout is active.
