Norwegian and Danish share the letters æ, ø and å, which end the alphabet. Norwegian orders them æ ø å.
On a Mac, Option+' gives æ, Option+O gives ø and Option+A gives å.
On Windows the Alt codes are 0230, 0248 and 0229 for the lowercase forms.

Open Settings → Time & Language → Language & region, add Norwegian (or open the options for your language and add the Norwegian keyboard). Switch layouts with Win+Space. The current layout is shown next to the clock.
Open System Settings → Keyboard → Input Sources → Edit, click +, and add Norwegian. Switch with Control+Space or from the input menu in the menu bar. Turn on Show Input menu in menu bar to see which layout is active.
Open Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard and choose Norwegian Bokmål. Switch by holding the globe key on the keyboard.
In Gboard, open Settings → Languages → Add keyboard and choose Norwegian. Switch by holding the space bar or tapping the globe key.
